What is AccInsight?
AccInsight is a free, community-built stats viewer for DarkOrbit accounts. You run an analysis of your account once and receive a shareable link that presents its statistics — level, rank, uridium, credits, ships, drones, skill tree, titles and more — on a single overview page.
Is AccInsight free?
Yes. Creating account links, browsing public accounts and all other features are free. The site is financed through advertising, which covers hosting and operating costs.
Do you store my session ID (SID)?
No. Your SID is used exactly once, at the moment of the analysis, to read your account statistics. It is not saved on our servers. Only the resulting statistics snapshot is stored and displayed on your account page. If you want to be extra careful, log out of DarkOrbit after the analysis — that invalidates the session ID entirely.
Why do I have to sign in with Discord?
The Discord login prevents spam and abuse, ties every account link to its creator and lets you manage the links you have created. Viewing account pages requires no login at all.
What is the difference between a public and a private account link?
Public links are listed on the AccInsight homepage and can be indexed by search engines. Private links are reachable only by people who know the exact URL — they are not listed anywhere on the site and are excluded from search engines.
Is the data on an account page live?
No — every account page shows a snapshot from the moment the analysis ran. To update the page, simply run the analysis again. Earlier snapshots remain available through the account history, so progress over time stays visible.
Can other people see my account without my permission?
Only you can create an analysis of your account, because it requires the session ID of a logged-in game session. Nobody can generate an account page for an account they cannot access.
How do I get my account page removed?
Contact us at contact@acc-insight.info from a verifiable channel (for example the Discord account that created the link) and we will remove the page.
Is AccInsight affiliated with Bigpoint or DarkOrbit?
No. AccInsight is an independent fan project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Bigpoint GmbH or the DarkOrbit game. All DarkOrbit-related names and graphics belong to their respective owners.
What is the banned users list?
A public, community-maintained record of users who were banned from our platform and partner communities for scamming or other harmful behavior. It exists so community members can check who they are dealing with — see our guide on spotting scammers for how to use it.
